mmmm takeout...

What with being stuck in the apt sick lately, and not always in the mood to cook (sometimes a gal needs a break!), I've been completing many takeout missions.

This has included Baluchi's (my faves are the chicken tikka masala, and chicken jalfrazie...I also ordered chana masala and bhartha on a recent vegetarian kick - I am a serious steak eater, so this was short-lived), as well as some lesser-known Indian places in the East Village (all disappointing thus far)...and The Holy Basil, my new go-to Thai place (mmmm great chicken satay and Pra Ram Long Song)  Not so much a fan of their Tom Yum soup (be warned: the shrimp soup comes with TWO, yes, TWO shrimp.  Lame).

Pra Ram Long Song...peanuty and beefy and delicious!

Tom Yum "Shrimp" Soup

Friendhouse in the EV also makes amazing green curry but...the other menu options aren't as good and so I do not count Friendhouse as very reliable.  Miel also tells me that the green curry from The Holy Basil is just as delicous, if not more.
