Update:
Miel and I were true to our word and, once home from work, ran to our neighborhood Ben and Jerry's to find...a line winding around the block.  Not to worry!  We were rewarded for our patience (and the wait was 20 minutes, tops.  A small price to pay for free ice cream).


Once inside we learned that the half baked frozen yogurt and the chocolate fudge brownie flavors were cashed out...but, we were in luck, as Imagine Whirled Peace (sweet cream and caramel ice cream, chocolate peace signs, and toffee cookie pieces) was still available!  The good people behind the counter gave out generous scoops (full cones!) to my surprise. 

This marketing scheme definitely worked...I had forgotten how good Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream was.  I will be visiting them again soon!
