Westville Brunch

Springtime is brunchtime!  Well, it is always brunchtime for us, but, it's lovely when NYC restaurants set up their outdoor seating/throw open their windows and doors and make some extra room for hungry New Yorkers looking to catch up with friends and family and make the most of the weekend.

One of our favorite EV spots is Westville East.  They have two locations - one in the West Village, Westville East, and a third coming soon in Chelsea!  They serve great, simple food, with lots of menu options for a pretty reasonable price.  Since we love the dinner menu so much, we decided to stop by for brunch.

Miel had the fried eggs over country ham (pictured above), and I had the pork chop and eggs with sweet potato fries.

While the meal was solid - everything was cooked well, and portions were generous - the pork/egg flavor combo didn't mesh as well as I'd hoped.  The sweet potato fries, on the other hand, exceeded my expectations - these were the best I've ever had.  If you do visit Westville, for brunch or any other meal, we recommend an order or two of these!
